New adventures! Always bragging; no fish pictures

January 29, 2011

A trip north, one hour to Punta Gorda. A lovely community on the water. There was a flea market with Taylor Street closed for the venders to sell their wares.   For sale was artist works, vegetables, local fruits, homemade breads. meat market venders, home made pasta's, etc.  The community also had a trolley, which we did not ride.  Would like to investigate the trolly ride, tours; not sure!
Visited Fisherman's Village, a water side shopping center with boating dockage.  I was told there was a shop "laff out loud"in this tourist trap complex that sold pushers.  Pushers are tools you use in playing  Mah Jongg; a must for the game.  I was not impressed with the tourist trap shopping. Bottom line, I made a purchase at the tourist trap.   I will say the parking lot was packed @ 11:00 AM.  Wish we had a tourist trap in Edenton.   I will return to this lovely community.  I am bringing my cooler bag to fill with goodies for weekly dinners.  Fishing food is pretty scarce these days All brag, No show!  I may need to change the blog name.  HA!

A must stop" Zemel Road " on the way north to Punta Gorda.  The most beautiful pots you ever saw.  Also, lots of beautiful mexican pottery.  You want to go home and POT.
